The club was excited to host Devin Parks, Director of Economic Development of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Development Office. Organized in 2019 as a department within the City of Myrtle Beach Government, the Downtown Development Office provides leadership, vision and directs the implementation of the new Downtown Master Plan. Their prime roles are expanding downtown economic development, building a new center of our city for arts & culture to thrive, and preserving the built history of downtown Myrtle Beach. They are charged with creating an interesting, walkable and lively downtown for locals and visitors alike. Devin shared insights on the work they are doing to support these goals.
